From March 4–6, 2026, Tonhe Technology participated in KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026, held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy. As one of the largest renewable energy events in Europe, the exhibition gathered over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and attracted over 100,000 professional visitors across 20 exhibition halls covering 150,000 m².

Italy Accelerates EV Charging Infrastructure Development

Italy is rapidly becoming a key hub for energy transition in Southern Europe, with strong policy support driving the expansion of EV charging infrastructure and electrified transportation.

Several major initiatives are boosting the market:

  • Residential EV Charger Subsidies Relaunched
    The government provides up to 80% subsidy for the purchase and installation of home charging stations, with a maximum of €1,500 for private users and up to €8,000 for installations in shared residential areas.

  • €741 Million Investment in Low-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure
    The program promotes the integration of solar power and EV charging systems in new buildings, while accelerating the construction of public charging stations. Italy aims to deploy 300,000 public charging points by 2030.

  • €1.2 Billion EV Purchase Incentive Program
    Financial incentives encourage EV adoption while supporting manufacturers such as Fiat, Ferrari, and international brands to expand their electric vehicle lineup. This growth further drives demand for integrated solar-storage-charging solutions.

These initiatives are creating significant opportunities for EV charging equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and energy operators across Europe.

40kW / 50kW High-Efficiency Charging Modules

Tonhe presented its 40kW and 50kW charging power modules, which share the same compact form factor and are certified with CE by TÜV.

Key features include:

  • Peak efficiency ≥ 97.2%

  • Weighted efficiency ≥ 96.5%

  • Compliance with IEC 61851-23:2023

  • High power density and reliable performance

These modules help European charging equipment manufacturers obtain CE certification more efficiently, reducing development costs and accelerating time-to-market.



40kW Liquid-Cooled Charging Module

Tonhe also showcased its 40kW liquid-cooled charging module, designed for high-power ultra-fast charging applications.

Key advantages:

  • IP65 protection level

  • Peak efficiency ≥ 97.2%

  • Zero-noise operation

  • Maintenance-free design

This solution is ideal for harsh environments and large-scale fast charging stations, supporting the development of megawatt charging systems (MCS) for next-generation EV charging infrastructure.

In addition to power modules, Tonhe Technology introduced its complete CCS2 EV charging station solution designed specifically for the European market.
